Title:               Cafeteria Helper/Server/Dishwasher - part time

Gr New Bedford Reg Voc Tech High School

Report to:       Cafeteria Manager

Work Year:     2-3 hours a day

Time:              10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

                       Must be able to work a school calendar

Performance Responsibilities 

1. Report to the cafeteria, sign payroll sheet and check schedule.
2. Serve students and staff from the serving line in a timely manner.
3. Be courteous to staff and students.
4. Servers must use portion control and portion size.
5. Person must be able to lift a minimum of 40lbs.  Job is very physical. Must be capable of bending, reaching and lifting.
6. Servers must be able to mantain cleanliness of the serving line for each lunch shift and restocking of food items for each lunch shift.
7. Servers will help in the sink area with soiled pots, pans and dishes when needed.
8. Break down food from serving line at end of lunch and properly package and store in walk-in cooler or freezer.
9. Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Manager.
